Track fire causes subway delays at Grand Central Station

News 12 is told power was shut down on the No. 6 line between East 42nd and East 33rd Streets just before 2 a.m. after some debris caught fire in the tunnels.

A track fire overnight at Grand Central Station caused some delays on Tuesday.
News 12 is told power was shut down on the 6 line between East 42nd and East 33rd Streets just before 2 a.m. after some debris caught fire in the tunnels. The 4 line was also impacted.
It took about three hours to get the fire under control, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
