Pockets of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected across the Hudson Valley today.

Scattered heavy rain and a few thunderstorms should be more of an issue for isolated flash flooding this afternoon and evening.

Downpours can happen anywhere across the region at any time this afternoon and evening. There will be breaks in the rain from time to time. 

The rain continues overnight and tapers off early Friday morning. 

Friday will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs around 75 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and a bit fall-like with highs around 72 degrees.

Sunday will be cloudy with scattered showers and storms likely. Highs will be around 77 degrees.
