As we go throughout the morning, as we get some of these changing weather conditions across the lower Hudson Valley, we wanna show you those conditions on the ground. So, you know, we have thunderbolt 12 here news 12 hour great weather resource, our weather lab on the go if you will and we have News twelve's Lisa Laak driving around right now, which Lisa, as mentioned, not so much happening just yet, but as we get into the morning commute, the rainfall is a little bit more steadily and that could slow people down for sure. Absolutely. Good morning to you guys. Good morning everyone. So let's get a look outside thunderbolt right now and we're on the Saw Mill River Parkway. Nothing really happening. I mean, my drive in when I went out clearly, it had rained overnight. So the roads are a little wet. I just kind of felt that sort of raw. You know, when it rains, it's not super cold, only 42 degrees on the gate here in Thunderbolt. But because you add that moisture, that kind of that rain, you get that raw feeling, so just dress warmly if you are leaving right now you can see roads are basically a little wet here and there, but for the most part, nothing's coming down just yet at this point. Let's get a look at Danny's point of view. He's got the windshield wipers on. It's just kind of spinning if you want to put it that way. Not even really drizzling, just kind of spitting a little bit. So you're good to go if you're leaving now. But as Matt said, throughout the morning, we'll start to pick up and see this as we get into this stretch of rain. So we'll be driving around, we'll let you know what we're seeing throughout the morning as that rain starts to pick up. Let's go back to the studio.

Stop in Poughkeepsie, mid forties this morning. A few showers around and in the afternoon, uh periods of often on showers with highs in the upper forties to near 50 degrees. We always like to keep a close eye on those road conditions too. So for more on that news twelve's Lisa Lara is live now in White Plains in Thunderbolt 12. Our great weather resource vehicle on the go and Lisa while there's not too much going on. I think this is a great opportunity to kind of remind people about the equipment that is on Thunderbolt 12. That'll get a lot of good use this week. Oh, yeah, definitely. You know, it's, it's a cool, it's a cool car you can't miss, that's for sure if you are. If you're a little on the claustrophobic side, it's a little tight back here, but that's ok. So we have lots of cool stuff, for example, take a look outside that this is our rooftop camera. So we are driving on Avenue right now in White Plains and you can see dry still as Matt is saying, you know, we haven't, it hasn't quite started raining yet. So if you are looking to leave now. You're good to go for the most part, the roads are dry. So let the cool thing is I have a little joystick back here that I get to the camera around. So let's take a look and we get this 360 view. There's the top of thunder ball with all the cool equipment that lets us do all that and move all the way around again. Quiet out here in White Plains right now, which is, which is kind of nice to get the streets to ourselves as you've watched over the years when we're driving around in thunderbolt, the camera up on top, it's got windshield wipers, it's got defoggers, all that kind of cool stuff. And then here's another camera view. This is what Danny sees as he's driving. This is from the windshield as well. And then of course, we have all the gauges where Matt can do his weather out on the road. So right now it's 41 degrees on our gauge from thunderbolt. And I was saying earlier, you know, when it's damp out, when I left this morning, it was kind of drizzling and it was a little wet. So I kind of have that raw feeling. So, especially since it's going to rain throughout the day. Uh, you may want to just think about that as you're getting ready to head out and get dressed, just, uh, need some warmer clothing with you today. But as I said, you can see right now, dry conditions are good, no problems now, but it's a little later when the weather is going to start to, uh, the rain is going to start to fall. And then unfortunately, I'm not saying we're going to see that throughout the week. So we will be keeping an eye on all of it for you. We'll let you know when it starts raining and what we're seeing out here. But as I said, in the meantime, things are looking good for you. We're in thunderbolt. Let's go back to the studio.

As we go throughout the morning, we wanna showcase off those, those road conditions, show you how things are looking and a great way to do that is from using our great weather resource. Thunderbolts. Well, Lisa Lara, driving around uh right now across Westchester County showing us those road conditions and Lisa, at least we do have some rain right now to talk about. We do. Yeah, we just, we just passed by the Westchester County airport. Let's take a look getting on to 684 heading north right now and you can see now we're starting to get some of those rainy conditions. Let's get the wiper going and I mean, again, nothing, not, nothing that's torrential downpour or anything like that. But, you know, just starting to get wet and you'll start to have that sloppy kind of drive. And again, like I've been saying all morning, it's 40 degrees. So not, you know, not freezing cold, certainly, but when you mix in that rain, you kind of get that raw feeling. So just something to think about as you're getting dressed and getting ready to go to work today or to school. So again, as you can see, I mean, wet roadways but, and I'll show you through Danny's vantage point. So you see what it's like while you're driving again, just, just starting to come down now, but nothing too crazy. So just give yourself, uh just, you know, maybe some extra time and have some wet roads that could, of course, always be a little on the slick side, but, you know, nothing, nothing bad just yet. And let's hope it would be nice if it just stays this way all day with this rain coming through. But we'll keep an eye on it. Like, you know, if conditions worsen, we're in thunderbolt, let's go back to the studio.
