And right now News Twelve's Tony Caputo is driving through snow-covered roads in Teaneck. We're going to check in with him to find out what the conditions are and who you're speaking with now, Tony. Actually we're with the Bergen County Executive James Tedesco here. Uh, you know, we've been joking a little bit. Bergen County is not the biggest county by land in New Jersey, but it's easily the biggest when it comes to population. You have a lot of people to take care of in a storm like this one. We do a lot of roadway and a lot of people, but so far today things are doing pretty well. We've had some snow. Had some sleet rain just like uh your weather forecaster Mike said and uh but we're staying ahead of it and things are in pretty good shape here on Burton County. Yeah, Mike nailed it. You guys are getting the job done too. We've been driving around the roads have been pretty good right now we're getting a little bit more rain, it seems like it's just constant change back and forth, you know, we get, we get a little lull and then all of a sudden a little snow. Now a little rain mixed in with a little sleet, um, the transitions happening, um, and so I think it's happened a little bit faster than everybody expected. We were expecting this to go to maybe 1112, um, but the good thing is we, we have a delayed opening here in Bergen County for Burton County workers, so that was a good call on our part. Let them let the roads get treated, let everybody get on the roads in a safe manner. You had trucks are so out throughout the night. Now here's the thing, Rudy, show them again the salt in there. That's a lot of salt. That's like a salt dome you got going on in there. That's exactly what your salt, right? OK, we can take that out and play football in there, no problem, but here's the thing a couple of more storms are coming. You guys ready for all this? We are, matter of fact, we've already pre-ordered salt, so we're going to get a replacement. We'll get a replacement tomorrow for the salt that we used, and we already. Salt preordered for Thursday, Saturday for a Saturday storm. So we want to stay ahead of it. We had a problem once where no one could get salt. We got salt. We drove to Philadelphia and Baltimore, but we'll never have that problem ever again. Good stuff, County Executive James Tedesco here in Bergen County. Thank you for the time. We appreciate it. A storm like the one we're seeing this morning could lead to power outages. Right now over 1200 customers are without power. News 12 spoke to PSCNG's vice president of Electric operations to see how they were preparing for this storm.
