Planned construction on the northbound Thruway, set to take place between Orange and Ulster counties from Exit 17 in Newburgh to Exit 18 in New Paltz, has been postponed due to anticipated snowfall.
The intended construction involved the removal of a section of the Brookside Road overpass, which has been non-operational since May due to damage caused by nine over-height vehicles.
