Classes were back on schedule Friday at Irvington Middle School/High School after a threatening message was determined to be unfounded.

School officials say staff members found what they call a non-specific threat written on a bathroom stall after classes had been dismissed.

All remaining personnel evacuated the building and the campus had to be shut down for hours as the Westchester County police bomb squad along with their K-9 unit and Irvington police scoured the area.

This is the third such incident in Westchester schools this month. Scarsdale High School recently had to be evacuated due to a bomb threat as did Rye Middle-High School.

Rye has had four bogus threats this year, but on Monday, police arrested 17-year-old student Bryan Franco. He was charged with a felony count of falsely reporting an incident.

School officials in Irvington say the investigation into Thursday's threat continues.
