Tuesday will mark a week since Isaias blew through the Hudson Valley, and the continued power outages combined with the oppressive heat are creating a nightmare for thousands across the Hudson Valley.
Nearly 4,000 Con Edison restoration workers are racing to get power back, hoping to provide a little light to those who have been in the dark for nearly a week.
Neighbors say they are reaching their tipping points as restoration times continue to move from this past weekend to some even later this week.

More than half of the crews on the ground are from out of state, including one from Texas providing Con Edison with mutual aid.

Still, officials are demanding accountability from what they say is a lack of readiness from the utility companies.

With the heat rolling in too -- it makes for a dangerous and uncomfortable situation all around.
