Let's get a check of your weekend weather forecast with meteorologist, Alex Calama Alex and it looks good. Yeah, no big problems for you. But until midnight tonight, we do have some light showers. So if you have Friday evening plans, you'll definitely want to keep it in mind. Morning fog for Saturday. But that's really the only problem. It's mild and temperatures could even hit 60 in a few spots during the afternoon. We're tracking rain though for Sunday. That is not going to be a beautiful one. Light showers gonna be a huge impact for the evening commute. Just some nuisance weather for drivers, 456 and even seven o'clock, we still have the rain. So dinner time you need the umbrella. It is a gloomy gloomy finish to your Friday. But you wake up Saturday morning to some peaks of sunshine. Temperatures in the low forties or upper thirties. If you're in North Jersey the afternoon, even North Jersey, look at Morristown, you're at 57 degrees at three o'clock and then we're hitting low maybe mid sixties in South Jersey and along the shore. What? That's great for the first Saturday in December. But don't get used to it. We have some big changes on Sunday. The temperatures here still mild but it's just a wash. I mean, we're talking fifties and a soaking rain from noon all the way through dinner time on Sunday. Up to an inch if it's possible. So it really is going to be even more kind of widespread day for rain out of the next few in the forecast Monday looking a little better. Probably mostly cloudy, but so far mainly dry with it. Just a spritz of stray shower and then you're done with the fifties. And here comes the forties, Tuesday, Wednesday, the first day of Hanukkah, first night, it's going to be cool and it's going to be cool in the afternoon as well for really the majority of next week before temperatures rebound for next weekend.

What's going on inside there, who need to know? All right, but what's going on in the weather department? We have rain. I mean, there, office parties tonight, right? So you will want the umbrellas heading out and about for evening plans. Best chance is going to be during the evening commute between three and eight. You can see pretty much how a lot of us start to see the rain after three or four. Best chance is going to be around six or seven. So you'll have to tap those windshield wipers a little bit, but it quickly ramps off by eight or nine o'clock. We're more or less dry and the rest of the evening looks fine. It just got to have the umbrellas for the early part of the evening, but it's not the only time we're going to see rain this weekend. A little bit of a break expected tomorrow and honestly go outside. Enjoy 60 degrees because we might not see 60 degrees any more in 2023. That's right because of course, things are going to be cooling on down. Enjoy tomorrow because it'll start to rain again on Sunday. It'll also be quite a bit cooler, only lower fifties. So let's take a look at that future cast for Sunday starts off dry. So heading over to let's say church in the morning, you're fine. But by about 11 a.m. we will see a couple of showers moving on in. So by brunch time, you will want to move those brunch and lunch plans inside, it'll become a little bit of a heavier rain into the afternoon. Notice some of the oranges right there over park slope as well as Gowanus down towards Bath Beach. We are going to see quite a bit of rain for the afternoon hours. It's a quick hit though by seven or eight to on Sunday evening, we're pretty much clearing out of the rain and then into Monday morning, maybe a lingering shower is expected. So let's take a look at that 10 day forecast. What you're going to see is again a little bit of a temperature roller coaster up to 60 tomorrow. Then we have that yellow highlight. That means rain is looking likely and it could be a little bit more significant. A little bit left over Monday. Then it gets a lot colder. Take a look by middle of next week. We're looking at middle twenties.

So, hello everyone. I'm meteorologist Addison Green. And it's time for your latest news, 12 plus hyperlocal forecast for the Hudson Valley. Well, we have the new month right here of December and unfortunately, we're moving into the very first days dealing with rain showers on the way, not just for this Friday afternoon, but also in towards Sunday. So between the two weekend days, Saturday is the better of the days to be out and about, I know there's a small chance we're watching a few passing showers out there for Wednesday of next week. We're out and about across the region was the system move towards the area, producing light scag showers coming down. But then there's also some heavier downpours up across central Pennsylvania that'll try to move over this way as you go through the evening rush and then start to fade away after that. So adding up that initial batch of rainfall, you can see not a ton coming around maybe about 1/10 2 10th of an inch or so. Then we have the second system coming on here for Sunday. We may be seeing those numbers being added by an additional inch or more. Yes, they were looking about half an inch or so. So these numbers have kind of doubled in the past 24 hours between the different computer model runs. So towards 530 we have light to moderate rain coming on down from light green to dark green, highlighted areas right there in Middletown, for instance, then we go in towards Friday evening showers are wrapping on up and towards your day on Saturday may deal some patchy fog. A muggy feeling in the air for a lot of moisture around, but it will be a mild day with a mix of sunny clouds. Then heading out over in towards Sunday's time frame. We see light rain moving on in towards the lunchtime hour and unfortunately, some batches of moderate rain may come on down as you're going through the afternoon hour time frame overnight. Tonight, temperatures dip down towards only the low to mid forties. So if mostly cloudy skies, patchy fog, we won't be feeling a chill in the air. It'll be kind of damp. Maybe a little on the dreary side past Sunday to Monday, breezy, dry air moves on and then temperatures start getting colder heading into midweek next week.

I'm meteorologist Rich Hoffman, your hyper local weather forecast heading throughout the rest of our Friday. We do have the rain showers moving in west to east through riverhead. You can see the rain showers through this evening. After daytime, highs in the fifties going out this evening. After sunset, temperatures are going to be in the forties. We'll have the on and off rain showers into the morning hours of your Saturday. So here's our storm system, rain showers overspreading Long Island as of now west to east of Long Island, Nassau County seeing some of those showers. So evening plans, they will be impacted by a little bit of wet weather going through this evening. You see around eight o'clock, everyone's raining and the threat of rain kind of tapers off into tomorrow morning. So the rest of the day it's cloudy with the showers developing west to east. It may be raining in your neighborhood right now. Already, 42 tonight, scattered showers. Sun goes down at around 425. Here's nine o'clock, looking at the wet weather from the east end to the west side of Long Island. Temperatures are in the forties. We get a little bit of a lull with some drizzle and some fog on Saturday. And then the second wave of rain comes in towards overnight hours of Saturday. Then watch what happens on Sunday. We'll start to see the wet weather moving in and some steady rain for Sunday afternoon. Here's what we have today. Highs are in the fifties, showers developing over Long Island forties tonight with scattered showers and again, mild weather over the weekend.

Just Alan knows if we got some rain headed our way for this first day of December. Yeah, not a lot, but enough that it's going to cause a little bit of an inconvenience there for the evening commute. Take a look at the exact timing here, hour by hour. You're going to notice that the odds go up after three o'clock. So for that evening commute, 456, you're going to see some of these showers could be that little bit of a steadier burst here 6 to 7 p.m. and then it tails off by nine o'clock. We're pretty much done with the rain. That's good. But then for the weekend, maybe not the best looking weekend, but salvaging Saturday, Saturday, how about 60? I'm pushing up the high because I have a feeling we're going to get a couple of peaks of sunshine and that's going to allow the temperatures to soar enjoy tomorrow outside while you can because the rain returns on Sunday, it will also be cooler. It'll be a little bit on the dreary side. So let's take a look at that Sunday future cast because Saturday, I don't have much to show you because it's going to be dry. It's going to be a mix of sun and clouds for Sunday. However sure it starts off dry at about 7 a.m. But we're going to notice showers moving in from the south and west by the afternoon. Here we go by 11 a.m. Brunch plans move them inside because there will already be showers. This looks to be a little bit steadier of a rain compared to today's rain. Notice already some of the yellows on the feature cast around two o'clock. Then later on into the afternoon, even some orange, around 4 to 5 o'clock, there's a pocket of moderate to maybe heavy rain. That's possible that's going to move quickly through. So by the evening hours things start tapering off and Monday morning, we might have a lingering shower or two. But aside from that, we're pretty much smooth sailing, aside from today's showers and Sunday showers, I have that yellow highlight just so that, you know, that Sunday looks to be a little bit messy, messy Sunday, but Saturday is beautiful. Ok. I guess we got to take what we can get, salvage a little bit of the, it's better than the teens.

Our community camera in Norwalk today, a little bit overcast there but it seems as though the temperatures are decent storm. March team, meteorologist Jonathan Cuban is standing by with a look at the weekend. Hey there. Hey, what's going on? Mark? Now, listen, those temperatures are gonna continue to hang around the fifties sitting nice and mild heading into the weekend. Saturday is gonna be the better of the two Saturday better than Sunday because we're staying dry Sunday, we have some rain to watch for after we work through the rain through this afternoon. Here's look at your five o'clock hour, looking at your future chaotic and a little bit of some light shower activity starts to move in. So the commute along I 95 as well as the mirror could be a little bit tricky. And again, we're seeing those showers stick around till about 678 o'clock. And then we'll start to see things move out, dry out and better conditions as we head into the late night. Now, we could see a little bit of some patchy fog on the wake up for your Saturday morning. But again, we're dry, temperatures are gonna be pretty decent into the afternoon as well with numbers in the mid ff, but we're gonna work with more cloud and sun for the first half of the weekend. And then it really only gonna continue to grow gloomier and gray as you look ahead into your Sunday. So clouds all day, Sunday, Saturday night looks good clouds all day, Sunday. And we're gonna see that first round of some wet weather just a little bit after the midnight hour. And then you'll catch a little bit of a break for the early parts of your morning. 89, 10 o'clock, early parts of your afternoon there, we have that steady, that heavier rain moving in. So maybe driving back home, got a flight to catch back here across the tri-state. Could be a little bit of a delay. A little bit of a doozy that steady to heavy rain really continues. Heading into your Sunday evening and Sunday night, things clear out as we head into your Monday and as far as rainfall totals again, 1/10 to maybe a quarter of an inch for this first round for Friday. And then we're looking at a little bit more about an inch to add on to that after Sunday's event. Again. We're looking pretty good for the first half of next week, temperature wise. Then we're back to some chillier weather to round out the end of next week.

You may think October is Halloween deals, which it is, but there's lots more to buy like being out in the great outdoors. You might not think about pitching a tent in this weather, but the deals are on for all outdoor equipment roughing, it can be pricey. So if you can pick up a tent or even some knives for less, this is the time to grab the deals and get them while they're hot. If you're in the market for a new grill for tailgating for outdoor grilling all year round or just saving it for next year, now may be the time they got to make room for new inventory. If you're more of a home nature person, plants are on sale this month. Grant perennials that don't need much work, buy some bulbs now plant them and you'll have flowers by the spring feeling spooky. If you can wait a week before Halloween, you'll be able to dress your ghouls and goblins for a song candy will also go on sale right after. And that's always a sweet deal and don't forget to check the sale racks might be able to grab shorts or tank 75% off. Can use it on vacation or next year. Think blue as in jeans. October is known for places like the Gap Amazon and target to offer jean deals and what should you hold off on all the warm stuff for fall and winter that's going to go on sale on Black Friday along with electronics and laptops and tvs. Don't worry, I'm on it.
