While food prices may be high, there is an app that will give you delicious take-out treats for a fraction of the price – all while cutting down on food waste.
Experts say inflation may be slowing down, but food prices are still high.
Caleb Silver of Investopedia says "While the pace of inflation may be slowing, we are still paying more for mostly food products month after month. When we look at the New York region and the New York City metro area, cereal and bakery products are up 11.5% year over year, dairy products up over 9%, alcoholic beverages up over 6%, and then rent, we always talk about rent prices in and around the New York City area, they are high up 5.8% year over year."
So with food prices high – you may want to try The Too Good app.
They partner with restaurants and stores that have a surplus of food. Instead of ending up in the trash, you get a surprise bag for less.
