The Real Deal: E-bikes changing the way people commute

Like if you look at the tri-state era, we're only measuring at about 43% in office attendance. That's among the lowest in the nation when you look at major cities across the country and work environments change. So does the way people commute, I caught up with the owner of Smart Cycles in Norwalk to see how a four wheel commute has turned into two for some, it's becoming super popular. Uh You know, it's, it's hit the mainstreams, electric bikes look just like a basic bike, but there is more than meets the eye. We think people get the best, you know, experience and versatility out of uh electric bicycle. Like we've all known bicycles for years as you peddle, the motor helps push you forward. It's what gets people up in the morning and, and make the decision to go and do their commute on their e bike or their, you know, as opposed to their regular bike where they'll think about that one part of their ride that they hate and sometimes it's enough to say not doing it. So the question is, does it ride just like a regular bike? Let's find out? Oh, Oh, good. You feel like a kid. Uh, the expense is obviously way lower than, than a car or, or anything gas powered. So you save money, plus get a workout all before even clocking in. Everybody comes back and says pretty much the same thing. They sleep better. They get to work, they're more focused. You know, the idea of, oh, I've got to exercise is out of the picture. It's one less thing to worry about. Recently. E bikes have made headlines after fires and explosions. But Alex Stanic, owner of Smart Cycles says if you do it right, you don't have to worry if you buy a good quality brand and you use the charger that it came with. You know, and you know that there's somebody else that can give you support on the product you're purchasing. That's just something you don't have to worry about. This way. You can simply pedal and feel the breeze through your hair. If you hadn't written one and you try one, you will want one. It's that simple and that's the real deal.
