The Bronx celebrates the return of Arab American Family Support Center

The Morris Park community celebrated the return of the Arab American Family Support Center (AAFSC) in the Bronx.
Neighbors and community leaders came out to Friday's ribbon-cutting celebration that was held at 961 Morris Park Ave.
People enjoyed free giveaways, food and fun.
Randy Ali, the executive director of the Arab American Family Support Center, shared that they offer a variety of services to the community, with special expertise in serving Arab, Middle Eastern, North African and South Asian immigrants.
"We have a team here that will give them access to various services, whether it's food benefits, whether it's figuring out how to get health insurance, whether it's more affordable housing, they need legal assistance, any kind of service or support that they may need. We're here for them, and we're going to support them in any way," said Ali.
According to the AAFSC, the organization has served 22,000 New Yorkers from 120 countries in 177 NYC zip codes last year. Today, the organization helps more than 2,000 people in the Bronx.
