Supporters and critics of Elon Musk rallied outside a Mount Kisco Tesla showroom on Saturday – part of a larger movement across the nation and some countries in Europe to show their displeasure about the CEO’s role in President Donald Trump’s administration.

Protesters lined Kisco Avenue with signs and chanted that Elon Musk “has got to go.”

The protesters are trying to escalate a movement targeting Tesla dealerships and vehicles in opposition to Musk’s role as the head of the newly created Department of of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, where he’s gained access to sensitive data and shuttered entire agencies as he attempts to slash government spending. Most of Musk’s estimated $340 billion fortune consists of the stock he holds in the electric vehicle company that he continues to run while also working alongside Trump.

His cuts and role in the government have garnered immense backlash.

"We're really protesting the billionaire takeover of our government, of our democracy. It's just wrong," said Fred Silverman. "As you look around here today, these people are not getting paid. They're just giving up their Saturday because we believe in America."

In response to the anti-Musk protests taking place, members of the Westchester Putnam Patriots showed their support for the tech tycoon and the Trump administration.

"I am out here today to show support for Elon Musk, Tesla, Donald Trump, DOGE...because they're doing such wonderful things for our country, and I'm just here to show support for them. We are proud of what they are doing," said Stacey Cooper.

"These people who are attacking Tesla and attacking Elon Musk and SpaceX, they're obstructionists, and they're against the most obvious of common-sense things like transparency and accountability," said Cindy Trimble.

News 12 contacted a representative with Tesla for a statement and have not heard back.
