Tenants say they've been without gas in their Arthur Avenue apartment building since it was shut off due to a leak nearly a month ago and never repaired.
The tenants have been without hot water and gas since early April. They tell News 12 The Bronx that they have to boil water in the microwave and order takeout since they're unable to cook.
Con Edison shut the gas off after a tenant reported smelling a gas leak. Residents claim the building's management company, KPP, has done nothing since. Many say they've contacted the company numerous times and have gotten no response.
KPP tells News 12 The Bronx that it's working on the repairs. It also says hot water should be restored by the end of the week.
Con Edison is also working on the scene.
