Dozens of seniors said they haven't had hot water in their apartment building since Valentine's Day and management hasn't responded to their pleas to fix the issue.
"It's inexcusable, it's inhumane, and we're not having it," tenant Marie Sterlace said.
The issue is affecting one of the buildings at the Knight's Corner, a senior apartment complex, in the Town of Stony Point.
Tenants said the issues began on February 14 when management turned off the hot water for maintenance work, but the water temperature never returned even after that work was done.
At one point, residents said management put up signs in the building acknowledging the issue and that they were working on it, but nothing improved.
"How would you feel if your mother or your grandmother couldn't take a shower for 14 days? How would you feel? How would you feel if you couldn't take a shower?" tenant Kris Wooley asked.
Seniors said they've been forced to use baby wipes instead of proper showers and have had dirty dishes piling up being of the ongoing issue.
A person who answered the phone at the management office hung up on News 12 as soon as they were pressed for answers.
