Teen stabbed in neck on White Plains street

Police asked for the public's help Sunday to solve the second stabbing the city has seen in a week.
Police said the 17-year-old was walking along E. Post Road when he was stabbed in the neck before 9 p.m. Saturday. The teen, whose name is not being released, walked into White Plains Hospital Center, where he is listed in serious condition.
The stabbing comes a week after 39-year-old Andrew Holt, also of White Plains, was stabbed twice in the stomach during a barbecue at Carl J. Delfino Park.
The incidents have left residents, who say the area is normally peaceful, on edge.
No arrests have been made in either case, but a 20-year-old was being interviewed about the latest incident. Investigators do not believe the cases are connected. Anyone with information is asked to call White Plains police at 914-422-6111.
