A New Rochelle High School student has admitted to stabbing a classmate inside the school.
The Westchester district attorney says that Bryan Stamps pleaded guilty to first degree assault.
Authorities say he stabbed another student inside the school on Jan. 18 and then fled to New York City.
The FBI says they located the 16-year-old in Alabama four months later.
He faces 1 to 3 years behind bars when he's sentenced in January.
