A home in Tappan was heavily damaged by fire on Thursday.
Piermont fire officials say they were was requested for mutual aid and that crews arrived on the scene around 4:30 p.m. to find half of the home engulfed in flames.
Crews stretched lines into the structure via the front door and rear basement entrance and vented the roof.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
On their Facebook page, the Piermont fire department wrote that their thoughts and prayers go out to the families impacted.
