A popular Hudson Valley choral group isn't letting the challenges of the pandemic stop it from spreading some holiday cheer.
The Taghkanic Chorale is taking its annual
holiday concert virtual after successfully pulling off a virtual concert back in May,
The group, which has been thrilling music lovers in northern Westchester and beyond for 53 years, will include six projects recorded on the singers' cellphones and six prerecorded live pieces. The prerecorded pieces were recorded at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton.
The singers followed all safety and social distancing protocols.
The theme of this year's holiday concert is hope and healing.
The concert will be available for streaming on Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. on the group's website.
