Following Sunday's crash on the Taconic State Parkway that killed eight people, including three girls from Floral Park, grief counselors were on hand at a local school Tuesday to help students cope.

Police say the girls' aunt Diane Schuler drove the wrong way and crashed into an SUV, killing herself, her nieces, her baby daughter and three men from Yonkers. Schuler's son is the sole survivor of the crash.

Schuler's nieces, who attended John Lewis Childs Elementary School, were remembered during a vigil at Our Lady of Victory Church in Floral Park Monday night. The girls will be laid to rest Thursday.
