SUV driver dies in fiery Newburgh crash

Police says a Chevy Suburban burst into flames after it slammed into the back of a dump truck that was stopped at a red light.

The driver of an SUV died in a fiery crash in Orange County this morning.      
Police says a Chevy Suburban burst into flames after it slammed into the back of a dump truck that was stopped at a red light in Newburgh at North Street and Powell Avenue.
Once firefighters were able to put out the fire, the driver of the Chevy Suburban was found dead inside the vehicle.
The medical examiner was called to the scene and will determine the cause of death.
The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
