There has been a major break in a 19-year-old murder case.
Gifton Cousins, a.k.a. Michael Cousins, 48, was arrested and charged in the fatal stabbing of a man at the Pelham Country Club in Pelham Manor in 1996.
Both Cousins and the victim, Jason Campbell, were caddies at the club.
Cousins fled the country after the murder. Late last week, he was taken into custody on the island of Jamaica and brought back to Westchester.
He has pleaded not guilty to the murder charges.
