A new survey released shows that distracted driving is a bigger problem than many originally thought.
The survey by DriversEd.com shows that a majority of drivers admit to distracted driving.
More than half of the 1,400 people surveyed said they text behind the wheel, and 8 percent of those drivers admitted to watching videos on YouTube.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board, distracted driving caused nearly 3,500 deaths in 2016.
