President Donald Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court is creating a new kind of fear for immigrants in Westchester.
Amalia Carillo left Mexico for America 20 years ago for a fresh start, and now she is questioning her migration. Carillo joins many immigrants around Westchester who say they've been fighting for justice since the Trump administration issued policies that could jeopardize their status in America.
Thousands of migrant families are still separated, following this week's missed deadline to reunite parents with their kids who are 5 years old and younger.
Lesly Zhingri is a born American with parents from Ecuador who are still seeking citizenship. Her latest concern surrounds the president's pick for Supreme Court justice. It's a move she says could reverse her family's path to freedom because of nominee Brett Kavanaugh's support for the administration's immigration agenda.
