News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Matt Hammer says the Hudson Valley will see sunny skies and breezy conditions on Friday.
NOW: Spotty light rain showers continue otherwise cloudy with gradual clearing overnight. Breezy, sunny and above-average temperatures on Friday.
NEXT: Storm system passes close by Sunday in the afternoon. There might be some rain but not much at all at this point.
There is a wind advisory for Western Ulster County pretty much all day on Friday. West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Spotty showers before gradual clearing. Winds start to increase. Lows near 48.
FRIDAY: PICK OF THE WEEK -- Mostly sunny skies and breezy. Highs near 52. Lows near 31.
SATURDAY: Mainly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs around 43. Lows near 29.
SUNDAY: Mainly cloudy. Could see a quick pass of showers later in the day. Highs around 46 degrees. Lows around 34.
MONDAY: Morning showers are possible. Sun and clouds going into the afternoon. Highs around 49. Lows near 33.
TUESDAY: VALENTINE'S DAY -- Sun and Clouds. Highs around 51. Lows around 34.
