News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says it will be a sunny and warm Friday for the Hudson Valley before a chance of rain storms on Saturday.
WHAT'S NEW: The Pick of the week arrives Friday with warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies. There will be an increase in cloud cover late in the day but without the shower chances.
WHAT'S NEXT: The chance for rain goes up for the weekend. A cold front approaches Saturday afternoon, bringing a late day rain and storm chance. The threat of wet weather will linger into Sunday.

OVERNIGHT: Some high levels clouds on a quiet and cool night. Lows in the upper-40s to low-50s.
FRIDAY - PICK OF THE WEEK: Mostly sunny and rather warm. Temperatures running 10 to 15 degrees above average. Highs in the upper-60s to mid-70s. Lows in the mid-50s.
SATURDAY - EARTH DAY: A mix of sun and clouds to mostly cloudy with an increasing rain and storm chance for the late day hours. Highs in the upper-60s to low-70s. Lows in the mid-50s.
SUNDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH (MORNING): Rain showers in the morning fade away, partly cloudy and breezy conditions move in for the afternoon. Highs in the mid- to upper-60s. Lows in the mid-40s.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy and breezy. Highs in the upper-50s to low-60s. Lows in the upper-30s to low-40s.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs in the upper-50s to low-60s. Lows in the low-40s.
