Murders, sex trafficking and shootings are detailed in a 53-count indictment involving nine defendants, alleged to be members and associates of the Lowndes Block Gang.

“When you have gang cases, in general, these gangs hold sway over particular geographic area and they control and terrorize that area,” District Attorney Ray Tierney said.

In this case, the area was Huntington Station.

The indictment includes charges in connection with the murders of two men: Antoine Butts-Miller, who was killed in 2016, and Luis Cameron Rimmer-Hernandez, who was shot to death in 2021.

Marques Scott allegedly gave the order for a 14-year-old, who’s been convicted, to shoot and kill Hernandez.

Defendant Kevin Donaghy allegedly shot and killed Antoine Butts-Miller, who was an innocent bystander, authorities said. Donaghy’s attorney said he pleaded not guilty.
