Study: Heart inflammation is the most common long COVID-19 symptom in children

Researchers found other common symptoms of long COVID-19 in children are changes in smell and taste, or a loss of smell altogether, hair loss and even chest pain.

A new study shows the most common symptom for children who experience rare cases of long COVID-19 is heart inflammation, that's according to a new report published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Researchers found other common symptoms of long COVID-19 in children are changes in smell and taste, or a loss of smell altogether, hair loss and even chest pain.
Experts say it’s common for children to make a full recovery from the virus.
Compared to adults, children are less likely to experience long COVID-19.
