Some high school students in Newburgh observed Presidents Day from George Washington's headquarters overlooking the Hudson River.
Site manager Elyse Goldberg says Washington, born in Virginia, stayed in Newburgh in 1782, during the Revolutionary War.
"It's a really exciting little gem in the middle of Newburgh," Goldberg says.
