A group of kids in one Westchester community spent Saturday helping in the fight for a cure for cancer.
Students sold bracelets at the Eastchester Community Center to raise money for Relay For Life, the world's largest cancer fundraising event.
Many of them have parents or loved ones who have been affected by the disease.
Some adults told News 12 they were impressed by the kids who are using their free time on their day off to help other people.
"They raised almost $3,000 since the summer through grassroots events like this one and community events, so we are very proud of them," said parent Dawn Ciciola.
