Students from the Tuckahoe School District paid tribute today to local veterans and those who sacrificed their lives for our country.
Students from the William E. Cottle Elementary School and the Tuckahoe Middle and High schools came together Tuesday to say thank you to more than a dozen local veterans.
Kids of all ages showed their patriotic pride by dressing in red, white and blue.
The entire Tuckahoe School District lowered the flags Tuesday to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
