Students in Hartsdale are helping to make Thanksgiving special for needy people in Yonkers.
The Maria Regina High School students held a food drive and collected enough items to fill 170 bags for a Thanksgiving meal.
Those donations will be added to 400 turkeys they also purchased.
The school's Mission Outreach club started the food drive more than 20 years ago.
The donated items were given to St. Peter's Church on Ludlow Street in Yonkers.
