It was back to school Wednesday morning for more students in the Hudson Valley.
In districts such as New Rochelle, Greenburgh, Mount Vernon, Ossining, Peekskill, Nyack and White Plains, kids are once again hearing school bells and having to crack open the books.
Students in Yonkers, Rye, Port Chester, Ossining, Pocantico Hills, East Ramapo, Eastchester, Harrison and others will start Thursday.
In New Rochelle, high school freshmen had their first day of school without the help of upperclassmen. High school upperclassmen in New Rochelle will have their first day of school Thursday and Friday.
The district also welcomed new superintendent Brian Osborne.
