Thousands are without power Sunday morning in Westchester after a series of fast-moving storms Fourth of July evening.

Con Edison says heavy rain and destructive winds of up to 60 mph pushed trees into power lines.

Areas such as Greenburgh, Yonkers, Elmsford, Dobbs Ferry and Rye are seeing the greatest number of outages from the storm, according to Con Edison.

It said crews are working to restore power, and most customers are expected to have power restored later today. They advise staying away from downed wires and to treat all downed wires as if they are live.

If you see downed electrical wires, report them to your local police department and Con Edison.
