Early voting in this year’s election starts tomorrow.

For the first time, many areas are using Electronic-Poll Books.

The devices are replacing the traditional paper check-in process.

But E-Poll Books only work with internet, and some say it puts personal information at risk. Officials say the risk is minimal. "Cybersecurity, we don't see that as being a problem with this in the field with early voting. You're not voting on this (E-Poll Book), so what this is doing, is seeing if you are registered and if you are eligible to vote," says Westchester County Board Commissioner Reginald Lafayette.

The cost for the electronic devices is more than $3 million in Westchester, and the County Board of Elections hopes the investment will increase voter participation.
