WHAT'S NEW: Spotty showers will be followed by a weeklong heat wave ending Saturday.
WHAT'S NEXT: Heat wave with forecast highs in the low 90s starting tomorrow through at least Saturday.  Feels like 100 on Wednesday and Thursday. Isolated shower possible, but overall risk is low.

FORECAST:
TONIGHT: A spotty lingering shower until midnight, then dry and clear - but humid. Lows around 72. 
TUESDAY: HEAT ALERT - Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Highs around 90 degrees. This likely begins a prolonged heat wave (at least three days in the 90s). Stray shower in late afternoon possible. Lows around 74.
WEDNESDAY: *HEAT ALERT* - Mainly sunny to partly cloudy. Hot and humid. Highs around 94 degrees. Triple digit heat index likely. Lows around 76. 
THURSDAY: *HEAT ALERT* - Sun and clouds - hot and humid - Highs around 94. Triple digit heat index likely. An evening storm is possible. Lows around 73. 
FRIDAY: HEAT ALERT - Sunny - hot - highs around 91. Lows around 72. 
SATURDAY: HEAT ALERT - Sun and clouds - stray shower - highs near 92. Lows around 72. 
SUNDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs around the upper-80s. Lows around 72.
