Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Matt Hammer says on and off snow bands will be moderate to heavy throughout day, and an additional 2-3 inches of snow is expected.
WHAT'S NEW: The nor’easter will start as rain but will change over to plowable snow. Lower snow totals will be closer to New York City. There is a chance at double-digit numbers to the northwest of I-84 and I-87. Coastal flooding will also be a concern for southern Westchester County. Gusty winds are expected to get to 20-40 mph and power outages could become an issue.
STORM WATCH: Change over from any rain/mix to all snow for everyone as the winds pick up.
TUESDAY: Bands of light to moderate snow for many with windy conditions.
WEDNESDAY: Sun and clouds with a chilly wind.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny with a pleasant breeze.
FRIDAY - ST. PATRICK’S DAY: Sun and clouds with mild temps.
