A fast-moving storm caused at least two car crashes and dozens of power outages in Orange County last night.
Police say dangerous driving conditions may be partly to blame for accidents on Route 302 and County Route 17 in Pine Bush.
On Route 302, a driver crashed into a utility pole. He was flown by helicopter to a hospital for serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
Nearby on County Route 17 by Union School Road, police say the wet conditions caused a rollover crash. The driver was also taken to the hospital, but is expected to be OK.
Downed wires and trees elsewhere in Pine Bush closed roads and caused a number of outages. All of the outages have since been restored by O&R Utilities.
