The Stony Point Rose Memorial Library was closed Monday after nearly a foot of water flooded its basement.
Library officials say it happened after a water main break down the street last week.
The library's director says most of the first floor is ruined with thousands of dollars in damages.
There is no word on when the library will reopen.
