Before heading to the farm, you should know what type of Christmas tree you are looking for. There are a variety of trees including:
Blue Spruce – a distinctive blue-green color with short, pointy needles.

Douglas Fir – one of the most popular Christmas trees, it is typically very full.

Canaan Fir – Similar to Fraser and Balsam Firs with a dark green coloring, full and slim on top.
White Pine – strong branches and has a bushy look compared to Spruces and Firs.
*Firs typically last longer than Spruces and have a pine-like scent.
