New York State Police arrested a man in Wappinger for criminal possession of a weapon.

State troopers say they initiated a traffic stop on Saturday at 9:45 p.m.

They determined that Stephen Bauch was in illegal possession of a 9mm handgun, and that Ronald Marlow was in possession of metal knuckles.

Marlow was issued a ticket to return to court later in the month.

Bauch was arraigned and sent to Dutchess County jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $75,000 bond.
