A state trooper and an Oakville woman were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident on I-84 east in Waterbury.

State police say Kaitlyn Mckenna, 21, was driving a Dodge Stratus in the center lane and lost control of the vehicle, causing her to hit the side of a Toyota Corolla that was in the right lane.
Mckenna then hit the back of a state police cruiser that had been parked in the right shoulder. The trooper and McKenna were transported to St. Mary's Hospital for minor injuries.
All three cars were towed away from the scene.
