State police say one person was seriously injured in a school bus crash in Orange County on Wednesday.

They say the crash happened on Route 84 before 7:45 p.m.

A yellow school bus with Hebrew lettering on the side could be seen in the eastbound lanes just before the Maybrook exit for Route 208. A group of young girls were gathered outside the bus on the side of the highway.

There is no word yet on what happened to the bus or where it was coming from or heading to.
