A weeklong crackdown on speeding is now underway across the state.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the "Speed Week Campaign" calls for increased patrols and more unmarked vehicles to watch drivers on state highways.
In addition to speeders, they will be looking for seatbelt violations and distracted driving.
State police issued 22,000 tickets during speed week last year.
