A Spring Valley man is facing serious charges after the death of his partner.

According to the Rockland County District Attorney's Office, Warle Arias-Fernandez is accused of intentionally killing Carolyn Canela in their apartment on or around Feb. 23.

Arias-Fernandez is currently in custody at the Rockland County Jail awaiting further legal proceedings.
