The spirit of giving was on full display Sunday at the Sharing Community in Yonkers.
The most vulnerable were treated to an annual Christmas feast, thanks to more than 100 volunteers, including a special young man News 12 interviewed over a decade ago.
The center has been serving food at the annual event for 34 years, and for 17 of those years, Christopher Frederique has been a fixture.
News 12 interviewed Frederique back when he was 11 years old in 2006.

Frederique says it's important not to take things for granted, especially after a near-death experience last summer where he nearly died in a fireworks accident.
He says he lost 22 pints of blood and two of his fingers.
Frederique insists that he is no different than the charitable sixth grader News 12 met 11 years ago.
"I don't think much has changed...I feel same gratitude and feeling I wish I could give these people more...They are going through obstacles. Everyone goes through obstacles in their life. But you really don't understand what someone is going through until you are in the same predicament...and with this happening to me...every day, I have an obstacle now," he says.
