Speed was likely to blame for a crash that killed a 25-year-old man Friday in Union Vale, according to investigators.
Authorities say Ryan Nichols lost control of his pickup truck, struck a tree and died at the scene on Clove Road.
Funeral services for the man are set to take place Thursday in Hopewell Junction.
There will also be a celebration of his life Friday at the Beekman firehouse.
