SPCA: Kennel, farm owner passes away, animals left without care in Putnam
An owner of a kennel and farm in Putnam was found dead, according to the county’s SPCA.
They say the owner’s death left all the animals without care.
The organization acknowledged the dogs staying at the kennel have been reunited with their owners, but they needed help finding people to take in the over 65 goats, chickens, ducks and donkeys.
The SPCA thinks it now has enough new homes and will spend the next 24 hours contacting those who reached out to get the animals moved.
