A massive 14-car pile-up
closed down all southbound lanes of I-95 in Port Chester at the height of rush
hour today.
State Police say
construction work on I-95 apparently resulted in flooding which then iced over.
There are no serious
injuries, but two people were taken to a hospital with non life-threatening
injuries.
Southbound traffic on I-95
was diverted at Exit 21, and traffic was backed
up past Stamford, Connecticut.
All lanes reopened around 9
a.m.
