A tragic two-car accident in Somers Monday has now claimed three lives.The accident happened on Route 100, about a quarter-mile south of Route 35. Police say 84-year-old Elizabeth Carlen was driving southbound when she drifted into the oncoming lane and struck Lena Borshchov, 27, who was six-months pregnant. Borshchov was forced to undergo an emergency C-section. The baby and its mother both passed away Tuesday morning at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. Carlen was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.State troopers are continuing their investigation.
