A member of the National Guard based in Newburgh will be honored posthumously for his bravery.
Staff Sgt. Todd Lobraico will be honored with a Bronze Star of Medal with Valor at a ceremony tomorrow afternoon at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh.
The 22-year-old from Connecticut was killed in 2013 in Afghanistan.
Military officials say Lobraico's actions during a firefight allowed members of his team to reach cover and return fire.
